Rescue-focused WFR courses
Our SARmed Wilderness First Responder courses are a unique offering that blends traditional WFR skills with SAR-style evacuation and rescue techniques. This WFR class is designed for users who want to know more about wildland rescue and gain confidence when dealing with backcountry emergencies. This field-based course requires a decent level of physical fitness and some basic familiarity with rope use. We use both Deception Pass, State Park, and Larrabee, State Park in Northern Washington State as venues.
The course features a hybrid learning component, as well as 7 field days.
